Hello beloved brother,

if the theme look on your computer like on the screen-shots and in video - then all is fine.
If not, write us with a screen-shot of your desktop, so we see and can tell you what is wrong.

Ok so I think I did this screen shot right I wanted to take a screenshot with the start menu open but I only know how to use the snip-it tool and I tried using the print screen button on my keyboard but im not sure if it worked and I don't know how to get to the clipboard I think that is where it would have stored it but again my skills are only up and coming obviously!

Beloved Brother,

please go this way: C:\Windows\Resources\Themes OR, I can see on your Desktop open Folder: "Your Themes - Shortcut", it is the short way to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
and there you put the 2x files in from Theme Folder.

Then you go Desktop, right click menu with mouse - personalize - choose a theme - click on - done.

OK I have done this but I'm still unsure about some things in a lot of the videos I see showing the themes the folders all have a look that resembles the theme as well as other features and I am using the xtreme starer kit and I am reading I just don't think I'm either comprehending or seeing what is probably very obvious... Thank you for the help!

Yeah, I see Taskbar, Start Button has not changed... so, I believe Start Menu is also Windows default.

Please, uninstall Theme Resource Changer, restart system. Install Xtreme Starter Kit again.
After a Windows Update you must patch your system files again... please read my Instructions in Download file again...

I know it will work for you 100% too. Try a little bit more. At last you will post a screen-shot where all work fine. :imsohappy:

HI slade1style, welcome again to MT and hope your enjoying our forums,

The screen shot you provided shows you have not patched your system files to enable custom themes.

Please verify FIRST that you have downloaded our Starter Kit, and that you have ran the installer..

We have setup this Kit to be very easy to use.
1) Download the kit.
2) Decompress the downloaded file.
3) Open the folder and right click on the .exe file 'Theme_Extreme_Starter_Kit_V1.exe'
4) Simply follow thru with all the prompts in the command window that pops up, and follow thru the prompts from the app Theme Resource changer.
5) Restart when the prompt asked you to, or manually restart at the end.

If you already installed this ASUS custom theme prior to running the kit, you might need to go back and install it again.
Here are easy steps to install a theme;
1) Go to the Personalization applet (Open Control Panel & select 'Personalization') and select one of your custom themes to see the changes.
2) If you are still experiencing a problem with your custom theme not appearing correctly, go back to the personalization applet & look for the header named 'Aero Themes' and select one of the themes that is listed there. Log off or restart. Then once again, try selecting your custom theme...

And here are easy steps to capture a screen shot in Windows;
1) Press the 'Print Screen' button on your keyboard.
2) Open the native Windows app called 'Paint' (Click your start button and simply type the word 'Paint' .The app should appear in the list for you to click on the name.)
3) When Paint opens, just go to upper left corner and click on the button 'Paste'
4) Your desktop should be pasted into the window, so just need to save it.
5) Click the upper left hand Tab and select 'Save AS'..
